Dr Alexander Pollak

Dr. Alexander Pollak supports Breakthrough Listen’s technosignature search efforts by leading operational and technical contributions at the Hat Creek Radio Observatory, including enabling and sustaining science observations carried out by Oxford University researchers. He advances new observatory initiatives that broaden technosignature capabilities across additional wavelengths and observing modalities. He also contributes instrumentation and computing expertise to the COSMIC project at the Very Large Array, with experience in hardware design, FPGA development, and digital signal processing architectures. In addition, he works with global partners to bring technosignature search capabilities online across multiple instruments and facilities.
